A new Winter Fitness program will be held at the Glen Rock Community School to help residents gear up for the winter season. Residents of Fair Lawn will no doubt want to take advantage of this program.
The new program is designed for kids in grades kindergarten through third. Director of the Community School, Allison De Meulder, said that this program will enable attendees to become active in an enjoyable environment with their friends while also learning about how they can benefit from being fit.
Children often find it difficult to get outdoors during the winter. This program will offer a variety of fitness games and exercises that will keep attendees moving around when the temperature drops. The program welcomes those of all levels of fitness.
This program will be held at several elementary schools in Glen Rock with sessions running over a period of five weeks. Brochure printing can be used to provide more details about the schedules and any costs for such programs.
The Glen Rock Board of Education sponsors and administers the Glen Rock Community School. Recreational, cultural, and education activities are offered by the school for seniors, adults, and children. One division of the school is the Glen Rock Professional Development Academy which offers relevant high-quality programs to help educators in meeting their plans for personal professional development.
