ShopRite, a supermarket chain owned and operated by the Inserra family, will be opening a new store in Wallington, a short distance from Fair Lawn, in the Wallington Plaza Shopping Center.
According to chairman and CEO, Larry Inserra, Jr., ShopRite of Wallington will be 60,000 square feet in size and feature full-service catering, free nutrition and wellness programming, a liquor store and a pharmacy. There will also be a registered dietician on staff who will be a resource for nutrition and wellness for customers on a daily basis and will also provide healthy tips for food and meal preparation for people of all ages.
Inserra commented that this modern store will enable Inserra Supermarkets to extend its high standards of service and quality to Wallington and the surrounding communities. His company is most likely turning to flyer printing companies to create a colorful flyer welcoming the community to the store and providing more information about its products and services.
Inserra Supermarkets also aims to give back to the community by making life better for locals. ShopRite Partners in Caring is an initiative that works with over 50 manufacturers in the food industry to donate food to such places as homeless shelters, soup kitchens, and food pantries in most of the mid-Atlantic states to alleviate hunger and aid those in need.
