The Senior Resource Fair was recently held at Fair Lawn Senior Center.
Organized by Cristina Cutrone, a Councilwoman from Fair Lawn, the fair was designed to provide seniors with home care service information, legal services for elder care, and information about local social groups. Officials from the police and library were also on hand to answer questions.
Community Outreach Liaison for Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, William Wright, was on hand with information ranging from group outpatient recovery information to long term care services. Flyer printing companies can be used for organizations such as this one for providing details about such services that seniors can take away with them.
The founder of Tender and Timely, Daily Money Management, Victoria Schrager, let seniors know about a free consultation she offers to help seniors with tasks such paying bills and maintaining their financial affairs.
The Aging and Disability Resource Connection, a state resource, also participated in the fair to provide information about caregiver support groups and adult day services programs.
Among the legal providers were Ron Laurent, a loan officer, and Patti Lakin, a local real estate agent, to discuss viable solutions for senior homeowners; Erika Piccirillo of Cohn Lifland Pearlman Hermann & Knopf LLP to talk about trusts, wills, and estates; and the Milvidskiy Law Firm to promote its seminar on June 6 about estate planning.
