Fair Lawn holds business scavenger hunt

The Small Business Scavenger Hunt is currently underway in Fair Lawn.

The Fair Lawn Chamber of Commerce and Fair Lawn Main Street Inc. organized the event, which serves as an incentive for people to explore the several business districts throughout town with chances to win prizes.

Visitors to businesses can either take a selfie at or have a receipt of a purchase from any of the participating businesses and submit either of these before the end of the month. For every five businesses a participant visits, they will be entered into a raffle to win one of 10 gift cards. Once 10 businesses have been patronized, participants will be entered into a drawing for a PlayStation 5 or a flat screen television.

Some of the participating businesses include Fresh Daily Manna, Chicken Galore, American Nursery, Fair Lawn Diner, and The Chocolate Nook. Such businesses might turn to local Print shops to help promote their participation in events with Flyers and other printed materials.

Director of Outreach and Programming at Fair Lawn Main Street Inc., Toni DeLisi, said this year’s scavenger hunt will be bigger than previous such events. He added that the scavenger hunt is an ideal way to introduce people to the business community in Fair Lawn and offer them the chance to win a large grand prize, as well as gift cards to local businesses.

The Scavenger Hunt ends on Saturday, August 31.
