Leasing has begun for the Fair Lawn Promenade, which is currently under construction and will be a mixed-use project in Fair Lawn, located a short distance from New York City and the major thoroughfares of New Jersey.
According to Scott Loventhal, director of development for Garden Homes, the parent company of Garden Communities (which is in charge of the leasing process), the Fair Lawn Promenade will provide an opportunity for residents to live and work without need for a car. Most likely, Garden Homes is turning to brochure printers to get the word out in the community so as to attract residences and businesses.
There will be 150 units, and the site will be 900 to 1,825 square feet in size and offer a choice of one, two, and three-bedroom accommodation. The units will have stainless steel appliances, washers and dryers, granite kitchen counters heating, and air-conditioning that can be individually controlled.
Other amenities will include a fitness center, reserved parking in the garage, concierge during the daytime, and maintenance onsite at all times. There will also be 65,000 square feet of service, retail, and office space.
Loventhal commented that this project is a change from the garden-style apartments that have been the portfolio of Garden Communities, and the company is now looking to build communities for the future.
