Fair Lawn Community Center plans upcoming season

The Fair Lawn Community Center/George Fry Center for the Arts recently announced its October programs, as well as some that run into November.

My Fair Lady will be performed by the Skyline Theater Company on October 6 to 8. Directed by Michael Whitney, this production will be performed on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2:00 pm.

After winning the Tony Award in 1957 for best musical, My Fair Lady was made into a movie with Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison during 1964.

On October 14 at 8:00 pm, the Hurdy Gurdy Folk Music Club will perform. The show is called Uncle Bonsai with Kirsten Maxwell and features a three-person folk group performing songs with a touch of humor and macabre.

Going into November, the Winter Holiday Cabaret a Celebration of Dances from around the World will be performed by the Kennedy Dance Repertory Company on November 8 at 8:00 pm.

Directed by Diane Dragone, this performance is a series of dance numbers that uses holiday music to set a holiday tone. The program has music for Christmas, Hanukah, and Kwanza, and is described as being similar to the flashy Radio City Music Hall shows.

Clubs, associations, and arts organizations may need flyer printing for special events, and can rely upon printing companies in Fair Lawn to supply such services.
