Executive director from Fair Lawn appointed to state board

The Bergen County Workforce Development Board has selected the Executive Director of Fair Lawn Main Street Inc., Ryan Greff, to join its board.

The Bergen County Workforce Development Board is an oversight, planning, and policy body run by businesses that supports programs related to employment for youth, adult workers, and businesses. The County Executive appoints community leaders to the board whose members are responsible for planning and supervising workforce services and programs in local and regional areas.

Such important appointments are often made known throughout a community with flyer printing.

Business Manager of the Bergen County Workforce Development Board, Carol Polack, said that Greff has a great deal of experience in economic development and community service that he brings to the board. She added that he contributes significantly to such initiatives in the community as veteran support, disaster response, health services, and education.

Greff is also a member of the national team of KPMG that is responsible for managing the Empower High School Experience program of the firm, which endeavors to increase access to career and development opportunities to students from diverse backgrounds across the United States in accounting and professional services.

Greff expressed his excitement about being selected to be on the Bergen County Workforce Development Board, and is looking forward to working to support small businesses, workers, and young people in his new position.
