A Fair Lawn office building has been sold for $22m to make way for more space for medical offices.
The building is on Route 208 and was purchased by Atkins Cos., a real estate developer for healthcare in West Orange. The building spans 150,000 square feet and has as its anchor Summit Health, a healthcare provider that occupies 78,000 square feet of the building. The building was recently renovated with an updated lobby and common areas, new elevators, a new roof, and landscaping.
Atkins signed an expansion of 6,000 square feet with Gottlieb & Greenspan, LLC, which is currently a tenant at the building and is a law firm for healthcare reimbursement. The developer also signed a new lease of 4,000 square feet with SportsCare Physical Therapy, so these new leases bring the building to full occupancy.

The Principal of Atkins Cos., Cory Atkins, said the acquisition of this building demonstrates the commitment of his company to investing in medical office properties that are well-located, high-quality, and able to meet the many changing needs of the healthcare providers of today. He expressed his excitement about having the building fully occupied and levering an approach driven by relationships to ensure the best experience possible for the tenants and their patients.
