Mighty Quinn has opened in Paramus, about two miles from Fair Lawn, bringing another authentic New York City barbecue restaurant to the region.
The restaurant is located in the Garden State Plaza, One Garden State Blvd. It is a popular casual barbecue chain with locations in New York and New Jersey.
The owner of the chain, Hugh Magnum, says they are first top to bottom New York regional barbecue-style restaurant. He adds that the restaurant is not afraid to experiment with the menu and uses barbecue techniques from New York, Texas, and North Carolina.
Mighty Quinn uses sustainable materials in its restaurants’ design. It uses reclaimed wood from local suppliers for tables, bars and walls. The menu uses all natural meats and poultry. The size of the portions comes in single serving, half pound, and full pound.
The restaurant also serves brisket, spare ribs, pulled pork, burnt ends, sausages, half a chicken, wings, and chili. Side dishes on the menu are fries, sweet potato casserole, potato salad, mac and cheese, and sweetcorn fritters. Beer is available on tap, bottled beer, soda, iced tea, and bottled water.
The restaurant participated in the North Jersey Barbecue Showdown at Garden State Plaza on March 15.
