Siku, a company headquartered in Fair Lawn that produces millimeter wave radio, recently announced that it has partnered with Axis Communications of North America.
This means it will create and promote EtherHaul wireless networked radio systems that can be used for video surveillance at the street and rooftop level.
Axis is a network video company and, according to Vice Presdient of Global Sales at Siku, Zeev Farkash, clearly understands the standards and best practices with regard to security technology. Siku is pleased to have become a partner with Axis and looks forward to a collaborative experience that will help to bring solutions for network connectivity to the market so as to better serve its customers.
The connectivity provided by the EtherHaul radios is secure and free from interference, which lends it well to urban areas, Siku added.
Siku is most likely turning to a variety of marketing services to inform its customers of the partnership and the new products and services that will benefit them as a result of this collaboration.
Axis network cameras will also become a part of the Prism Connect system produced by Prism, a company that uses a cloud service for accessing video from any kind of device. Prism CEO and Founder Steve Russell commented that the equipment from Axis will enable the company to use smart visual sensors for retail and other industries.
