ArtsBergen sponsored by The Northern New Jersey Community Foundation (NNJCF) has invited artists who live or work in Bergen County, which includes those in Fair Lawn, to apply to Studio Sneak Peak for its next Connect the Dots networking event.
Connect the Dots is designed to create an environment where artists and other representatives from the community can spark relationships.
This event will feature three artists from the performing and visual arts who have created videos in their studios lasting no more than five minutes. The videos will demonstrate and discuss the creative process about their work in general, a project which is unfinished, or a recent work.
Associate Director of NNJCF, Danielle De Laurentis, said that Studio Sneak Peak is an opportunity for artists to present their work, themselves, and their creative process to new audiences. De Laurentis added that it also helps to attract people to their websites, thus fostering greater connections and sales. Poster printing can also be used to promote such events and the works of their participating artists.
The work will be presented at the Connect the Dots networking event of ArtsBergen on Wednesday April 21 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. In addition to the showcase of work, there will be a live question-and-answer session, and time for networking with art enthusiasts, colleagues, and the community at large.
