Edison to host computing training event

The 16-hour beginners’ Linux and Unix developer training course is to take place in Edison next month.

Tech Training Solutions, which provides technology programs for both established professionals and beginners to increase their knowledge of various types of technology, is presenting the course.

The Linux and Unix developer training program will proceed throughout February in several two-hour sessions. This short, informative classes will include detailed topics such as an introduction to the file system of Unix, the architecture and structure of the Unix file system, how to work with files and directories, how to locate files, various zip files, redirecting output and input, shell scripting, looping, operators, and socket addresses.

Course prerequisites include previous knowledge of basic concepts of computers and an understanding of the Operating System. Anyone in Edison who meets these requirements can register for a fee of $550 per individual. The registration fee covers all printouts and digital references participants will need for the course. When organizing detailed training events, the hosts often prepare physical printouts with the use of professional printing services to ensure all participants have sufficient physical materials during the course.

This informative training program is scheduled to take place from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at the IT Training Center in eight separate classes between Tuesday, February 2 and Thursday, February 25.
