Craftspeople will enjoy an upcoming weekend in Edison.
The New Jersey Conference & Expo Center is the location of the upcoming Stamp and Scrapbook Expo. The event includes workshops, make-and-take sessions, and play dates. People who register for a workshop will receive free admission to the Expo for that day.
There are 30 workshops available on the Friday, including Beginning Watercolor Cards, Calligraphy, and Slide into Christmas Fun. Most workshops are rated Basic, with a few Intermediate and one Advanced. Among Saturday’s 24 workshops are Creative Stenciling Techniques, Easy UV Resin Jewelry, and All About Adhesives. There are Basic and Intermediate workshops, but no Advanced classes on the Saturday.
An All Weekend Crafter option is also available. Anyone purchasing this will be able to participate in the MEGA Make & Take Extravaganza on Thursday, and themed Play Dates on Friday and Saturday. They will be able to pick up their tickets at Will Call and enjoy expedited check-in to the Play Date area. They will also be able to visit the Vendor Floor free of charge.
The expo is scheduled for Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13, beginning at 9:00 am on both days. The Expo center is at 97 Sunfield Avenue in Edison, and the event will take place in Halls B, D, and E. Specialized events like this often benefit when organizers use flyer printing to create handouts, which can be distributed locally.
