Fall celebration awaits in Edison

An event for families is scheduled soon in Edison.

Edison’s “Fall Family Spectacular” Street Fair & Food Truck Fest 2026 is hosted jointly by the Edison Recreation Department and the Township of Edison. The event is brimming with activities for the whole family.

Part of the fun of this event is nibbling on treats, and two food courts are planned, where food trucks and booths will serve hot dogs, hamburgers, kettle corn, shish kabobs, smoothies, and ice cream. Adults can enjoy a wine and beer garden to be set up on the corner of Amboy Avenue and 5th Street.

The day will also feature craftspeople and vendors offering products including home décor, candles, toys, jewelry, and more. Local civic organizations and merchants will have information available about their goods and services.

Live entertainment will appear in two areas, with local entertainers on the Local Stage and regional bands on the Main Stage. There will be chairs and tables set up near both, so people can relax and enjoy the music.

Kids Zone will offer sand art, face painting, blow up rides, a BMX Bike Demo, and game trailers provided by the Philly Pretzel Shoppe.

The free street fair will go ahead rain or shine on Saturday, October 17 from 1.00 pm until 9.00 pm. The booths will stretch for eight blocks along Amboy Avenue. When they plan events like this, organizers can work with banner printing to create colorful decorations for the occasion.
