Christmas special planned in Edison

The holidays are coming, and Edison is celebrating with a special convention.

Christmas Con is returning to Edison’s New Jersey Convention and Expo Center, where it will be held going forward.

At the convention, people can visit the holiday market, which will feature authors, artists, and vendors with products of all kinds. Attendees can also take photos with Santa Claus.

Celebrity panels are planned where fans will be able to hear behind-the-scenes tales of their productions. Of course, getting to meet the stars of beloved holiday films will be the biggest treat of all. Among those scheduled are Jane Seymour and Brandon Routh.

Seymour’s career goes back decades and includes roles in the Bond film “Live and Let Die,” and Elise McKenna in the hit film “Somewhere in Time.” She was a regular in the original television series “Battlestar Galactica” and starred for six seasons in “Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman.”

Brandon Routh got his break in 2006 when he played the title role in “Superman Returns.” He has numerous credits in both film and television, which includes the role of Zachary Stone in the Hallmark TV movie “The Nine Lives of Christmas,” about a firefighter chosen by a cat.

The convention is December 12, from 2.00 pm until 8.00 pm; December 13, from 10.00 am until 6.00 pm; and December 14, from 10.00 am until 5.00 pm. Organizers of events like this can enhance them by using flyer printing to create a schedule of appearances.
