East Hanover area summer concert highlights local talent

The Essex County Summer Players Orchestra will hold the annual summer concert in Livingston, just a few miles from East Hanover, this August to highlight the classical talent from the area.

Since mid-June, talented semi-professional classical musicians in the community have been meeting every Tuesday to practice in anticipation of the annual August concert, which is a chance to showcase their hard work and dedication to their craft. Nate White, music director and conductor of the orchestra, encourages all the communities of Livingston, East Hanover, and Florham Park to come to enjoy the beautiful music of the concert and support these musicians.

The concert will begin with the orchestra playing “Three Characteristic Pieces,” from English composer Elgar, which will have three parts: the first one Polish, the second Moorish, and the third Gavotte. This will be followed by a solo by violinist Evelyn Estava, who will play “Violin Concerto No.3.” “Symphony No.1,” played by the orchestra, will wrap up the concert.

Attendees to concerts, especially classical ones, may be presented with printed programs, often produced in bulk by local printing services.

The Essex County Summer Players Orchestra’s Summer Concert will be held on Sunday, August 3, beginning at 3:00 pm. It will take place at Heritage Middle School, located at 20 Foxcroft Drive Livingston and just 10 minutes from East Hanover.
