East Hanover gardening enthusiasts should note that the nearby Garden Club of Florham Park’s February meeting will feature a presentation from a local horticulturalist.
The Garden Club of Florham Park is an organization dedicated to the craft and hobby of gardening. It supports its members and the general public with educational programs related to plants and gardening. The club hosts a variety of events and activities throughout the year, one such event being the guest speaker presentation in February.
February’s presentation is entitled “Spring Ephemeral Flowers,” and will be led by horticulturalist and educator Megan Stypulkoski. A passionate gardener, Megan’s background in ecology allows her to view gardening through a sustainable and biodiverse lens.
Her work as an artist has brought her closer to nature and allows her to share her passion for horticulture. Her talk will delve into ephemeral flowers, which are the first flowers to bloom, and how they play an integral part in improving soil health and providing food for pollinators.
Organizers preparing guest speaker events may decide that printed Brochures detailing the speaker’s background may be helpful for attendees to have. To Print these, organizers may seek out brochure printing services from local Print shops.
The garden club talk is scheduled for February 4 from 7:15 pm to 8:15 pm. It will take place at Florham Park Library, located at 107 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park, just five minutes from East Hanover.
