Cherry Hill event to explore memory for older adults

While some may consider memory loss to be part and parcel of the aging process, it doesn't always have to be that way, and a Cherry Hill workshop will explore this in more depth.

An event that will be on offer at the Cherry Hill Public Library will explore the connection between aging and memory loss. It may be of interest to older adults as well as those with aging parents, and Sophia Apgar, M.A. CCC-SLP, will be sharing her knowledge during the session.

Ms. Apgar will discuss several topics related to memory, and will offer tips for combating its loss. She will also introduce strategies for improving memory overall, and will discuss how they can be incorporated into almost anyone’s daily routine.

A workshop gives those who are interested in a particular topic an opportunity to learn and meet others in a similar situation. A flyer printing company can both help to promote an event and prepare Copies of handouts for distribution.

This session will run for one and a half hours. Anyone over 18 is welcome, and questions about the class can be directed to (856) 667-0300 ext. 2.

The Cherry Hill Public Library will host this memory focused class on December 21. It will run from 10:30am until 12:00pm, and anyone who wants to register is welcome to do so now.
