When it comes to cancer prevention and detection, being proactive can really pay off, and a Cherry Hill event will make it easier to do so.
The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center will be welcoming the public for a Cancer Screening and Education Day, and it will be on offer at Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital. It will be running for three hours, and there will be several services available.
The medical professionals who will be on hand for the day will be providing same day mammography as well as prostate and breast cancer screenings, and same day CT scans for lung cancer will also be on offer. Checks for neck, head and oral cancers are on the agenda, and colorectal and gynecological screenings will take place as well. Audiology, blood pressure and diabetes screens are in the works, and parking will be free. Registration is required to participate in the day.
To add even more value to the session, there will be tables of health information and Promotional Products, and prizes will be awarded. Anyone with questions or who would like to sign up may do so by calling 856-218-5324.
The Cherry Hill area will be offered this step in cancer prevention on November 8th. It will run from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, and its Patch listing provides more information for anyone interested.
