Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital will be running a Cancer Prevention Screening and Education Day in early November, and it will make it easier for locals to be proactive when it comes to their health. Several options will be available, and parking will be free of charge.
Screenings set up for the day include same-day mammography and screenings for cancers such as colorectal, prostate, head, neck, and the oral cavity, as well as lung and gynecological. Audiology, diabetes, and blood pressure tests will be performed, and tables will be set up to provide further information about a variety of diseases. Free giveaways are in the works too.
Advance registration is mandatory. Registrants will receive a call to complete the sign-up process and provide details about appointment timings.
