Themed golf scramble provides laughter in North Conway

A golf scramble is in the works for North Conway, providing a setting where area golfers can enjoy goofiness, laughter, and competitive fun on the links.

The 9th Annual Damsel Scramble will kick off in a few weeks. It will provide a fun setting for local golfers to dust off their clubs, choose a costume theme, and play nine holes of golf. The event, which the Mount Washington Valley Promotions group is organizing, will be a women-only golf outing that starts with coffee and fun upon arrival.

The women who register for the golfing event will bid on the men who have volunteered to act as caddies for the day. The auction will be held in the hour leading up to the 11:00 AM tee time. Banner printing is an excellent way to welcome golfers and spectators while creating space for sponsor logos.

Team costumes are encouraged for the event to increase the fun and laughter during the day on the links. Players must register in advance, and there’s only space for 14 teams of five golfers. The scramble’s entry fee covers golf, awards, and a barbecue lunch.

The Linderhof Golf Club will host the themed scramble on Sunday, September 22nd. Registration will begin at 10:00 AM, and the event will end at 2:00 PM. Registration costs $300 per team, and teams can RSVP online.
