An opportunity to learn more about local wildlife has been announced near North Conway for next month, and area residents who love hummingbirds are invited to make reservations.
The Hummingbirds: Wonder of Wings is coming to nearby Conway, with Joe Callanan providing an hour-long examination of the colorful and quick-winged birds. Callanan, who is a passionate and experienced Natural History Educator and wildlife photographer, hopes to take attendees on a journey to explore the world of the different hummingbird species found in New England.
Callanan will share facts about these tiny birds while also showing the images he has captured from in the wild during his career. The experience is being organized by the Friends of the Conway Public Library in an effort to share knowledge and help area residents discover a passion for nature. Organizers can use printed materials like those created from brochure printing to provide educational materials for attendees at such events.
The focus of this gathering is the ruby-throated hummingbird, with Callanan providing a visual feast of photos that create feelings of inspiration. Attendees can expect to enjoy the company of like-minded bird- and nature-lovers within the community.
The learning experience will be held at 15 Greenwood Avenue in Conway, and begins at 6:00 PM on Thursday, May 7th. The hour-long exhibition is free and open to the public.
