Ski sale continues community tradition in North Conway

North Conway residents who wish to get rid of old ski equipment and gear are in luck ‌this autumn, as a community sale will make its return in town.

The 56th Annual ESSC Ski Sale is coming to the North Conway Community Center in November to help residents have a platform to list old or unused ski gear where others can purchase and enjoy it. The sale, which will have a day of preparation and donations followed by two days of shopping, is being put together by the Eastern Slope Ski Club.

Those who wish to participate can drop off “modern” alpine ski, snowboard, and cross-country ski equipment that is in clean and good condition on Thursday evening before the sale’s opening day. Promoters can leverage poster printing to provide information paired with exciting images to catch the attention of passersby and raise awareness of events like this.

Each item brought to the sale will require a tag, which costs $1 each, and sellers can purchase and fill out these tags ahead of the sale. Unsold items will be available for pickup at the host venue the day after the sale ends.

The sale’s first day is set for Friday, November 13th, from 2:00 to 7:00pm, continuing the following day from 9:00am to noon, at the North Conway Community Center. Admission to shoppers is free.
