Santas workshop to welcome passengers on holiday express
Santa is super busy during the leadup to the holiday season, but he has made sure to save some time to serve as the guest of honor for some special railway journeys through the North Conway area.
The Believe in Books Literacy Foundation will be presenting the Journey to the North Pole, and it will do so through a partnership with Conway Scenic Railroad. These excursions will depart in the afternoon and evenings, and they will be available starting on Thanksgiving weekend.
The two-hour ride will whisk families to Santa’s Workshop, and here, they will receive special treats prepared by his own personal team of culinary “elves.” When they arrive at the destination, they can visit the print shop, drop off letters for Santa, and take part in the interactive entertainment program. The monies raised will be passed along to The Believe in Books Literacy Foundation, which is a charitable 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Along with the other excitement this holiday journey will bring, each child will go home with a special present as well as an activity book for the trip home. A print shop will be happy to prepare personalized corporate gifts for a festive occasion.
This magical tradition will be returning to the North Conway area on Friday, November 25, and the schedule runs until December 22 Boarding, which will take place at 38 Norcross Circle, will be at 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
