North Conway venue to receive good spring clean
The Conway Area Humane Society recently announced that it is need of a good spring clean, and a call has gone out to the community seeking help.
The volunteers who register to lend a hand with the North Conway area Red Day 2023 service project will be performing maintenance at the Society’s venue located at 223 East Main Street in Conway. The function has been organized and supported by Keller Williams Coastal and Lakes and Mountains, and it will run throughout the day.
The participants will be tackling an assortment of tasks, and these include weeding, grooming the trails and dog park area, and washing windows. There are also garden beds to weed and mulch, and anyone with woodworking skills will be most welcome. The volunteers are asked to bring along tools such as rakes, shovels and other equipment as well as gloves, and there are general and carpentry assistance sign-up options.
Many people would like to get involved in community service, and organized events offer them a way to do so. Small corporate gifts can be prepared ahead of time by organizers to give to each participant to show they have made a difference.
