North Conway schedules family-friendly summer festival
Summer is in full swing in North Conway, and that means it is time for a special local event.
A weekend that will be all about staying fit and healthy is set to be presented by White Mountains Community College, and the Mt. Washington Chamber of Commerce will also be lending a hand. It will welcome the public for two days, and it will connect community members with a variety of ways to enjoy some outdoor fun.
The schedule for the weekend kicks off with a fun run, walk and toddler dash, and a vendor square will be set up in Schouler Square. Here, the attendees will be able to discover a variety of roads that can lead to good health, and speaker sessions, displays, demonstrations and other activities will all take place. Organized hikes, guided tours, yoga and other ways of keeping fit will be included in the celebration.
