North Conway Lodge hosts charity meal
The Mount Washington Masonic Lodge in North Conway recently held a breakfast in the name of a good cause.
The event, which was organized to help raise funds for the Gibson Center, featured all you can eat pancakes, ham, sausage, baked beans, corned beef hash fresh fruit, potatoes, oatmeal, a made to order omelet station as well as coffee tea, juice and other beverages. A small donation was collected form each member of the public who came out to enjoy the morning meal, and it was accessible to all, including those with mobility issues.
The money raised by the event was donated directly to the Gibson Center. All of the day’s expenses were met by the Lodge with some extra support being provided by the Valley Originals. A stationery printer can create promotional posters for such an event, as well as signage, menus, printed aprons and t-shirts for those who have volunteered to help serve the food and anything else that is needed to make the day a success.
This was just one of the fund raising events that the group will hold throughout the year to raise money that will pass along to other in the area. They plan on donating other amounts to different community organizations, such as the DARE program, scholarship funds, youth sports teams and more.
