North Conway gets creative with glassware
During a North Conway area event, participants will have a chance to learn how to customize wine glasses by creating two of their very own pieces of handcrafted art.
Instructor Melanie Levitt will be facilitating the session where members of the public can try their hand at creating wine glasses decorated with a theme of autumn leaves. The design will be crafted using a special paint that been formulated for use on glass, and the facilitator will provide guidance through the entire process.
Those who plan on taking part will each be given a smock to wear while they are painting, but they are reminded that it would be a good idea to wear clothes that won’t be damaged by drips of paint. The cost to participate is $45.00 each, which includes all of the supplies needed to craft these two pieces. Direct mail printing can be used by the host of an event like this to produce promotional items that can be sent out to each household in the local area that keep them abreast of any upcoming activities it will be holding.
The glass painting activity has been scheduled for February 3rd at Jackson Art Studio and Gallery, which is located at 155 Ridge Road in Jackson.
