North Conway fundraiser to take to local trails
A project that helps build community literacy will be the beneficiary of an event that will give North Conway trail riders an excuse to enjoy themselves, and all levels of experience are welcome.
The Cranmore Mountain Resort provides opportunities to enjoy outdoor fun, and it will be the venue for the Bike for Books fundraiser next month. It will follow the scenic trails that can be found at the location, and the fee to join the activity is $35 for adults and $20 for kids age 12 and under.
Everyone will be encouraged to get in at least five laps, and those who go “the extra mile” may win a prize in their age category. To add an extra fun twist to the day, participants will receive a passport they can have stamped at the various stops along the trial.
Along with the passports and other corporate gifts, everyone will receive a donut when they arrive, and pizza will be served. Ice cream and face painting are also on the agenda. Waivers will need to be signed by the bikers. Letterheads and other business forms for a fundraiser can be prepared by a stationery printing professional.
