For almost 30 years, the Mount Washington Valley area has welcomed one and all at its Ice Fest celebration, and this popular activity will soon be returning for 2022.
The organizers of the North Conway area event explained that the function had to be canceled last year due to Covid, but they are bringing it back, and have planned for it to be even bigger than before. It tends to attract a wide variety of visitors, from ice climbers to those who just enjoy curling up by a roaring fire.
The attendees at the function will be able to meet others who also enjoy outdoor winter fun, and a variety of workshops and other learning opportunities are on the agenda. Courses will be set up so that people of all abilities will have a chance to get involved, and video presentations are in the works. Tuckerman Brewing Co. will provide samples of its drinks, and food will also be available.
