Hiking event takes North Conway residents to nature
A group hiking event is coming to the North Conway region, allowing residents to lace their hiking boots and hit the trail.
The SheJumps Mt. Willard Hike will begin in a few weeks, bringing nature lovers and hikers together for a memorable day in the woods. Participants will hike the 3.1-mile trail to Mt. Willard, taking on a moderately challenging exercise with 895 feet of elevation gain. The hike will take guests through the forest to the top of Mt. Willard to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and mountains.
The hike will take participants an estimated two hours to complete, but time will be set aside for breaks, snacking, and water to ensure all guests remain hydrated and healthy. The outdoor event will expose attendees to the elements, and sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses are recommended. Printing services can be an excellent way to share photos taken in nature during outings like this.
Hiking boots are also encouraged, as the trail traverses multiple stream crossings. Women, girls, and non-binary individuals are welcome to participate in the hike, as are minors, provided they attend with a parent or guardian.
