It is almost time for an Omaha event that will offer a tasty way to help make sure everyone in the community has food on their table.
The 8th annual Ribstock festival will once again be serving up some of the area’s top barbecue, and the proceeds will support a variety of community service projects. The attendees will be helping to fund Project WeeCare, Food Bank for the Heartland, and the Millard Business Association’s scholarship fund, and it will also bring locals together for an afternoon and evening of fun.
Admission to the celebration, which will be held at Aksarben Village in Stinson Park, is $5, and all ages are welcome. Lemon Fresh Day will be the featured performers, and there will be plenty of food, craft beer, and other refreshments on offer. An assortment of vendors will be participating, and it will bring friends and neighbors together after what has been a tough year for many.
Many organizers of this type of function choose to use custom decor to help make it even more exciting for the attendees. A banner printing company can offer a full line of these sorts of materials.
The 8th annual Ribstock food festival is scheduled for July 24. It will kick off at 12:00 pm, and the fun will keep on going until the festivities wrap up at 10:00 pm.
