Music fans will gather in downtown Omaha this summer for In the Market for Blues 2026, a large-scale festival featuring more than 30 acts performing across multiple indoor and outdoor stages.
Created by the Blues Society of Omaha in partnership with local musicians and venues, the event will showcase regional and national performers while highlighting the city's longstanding connection to blues music.
The festival's main programming takes place on Saturday, August 1, with performances scheduled throughout the day and evening at venues throughout the Old Market and Capitol District areas. Featured artists include Texas Headhunters, Héctor Anchondo Band, Gary Hoey, Lil’ Ed & The Blues Imperials, Brandon Santini, Patrick Sweany, Mathias Lattin, Hughes Taylor, Heather Newman Band, Honey Marmalade and several additional performers.
Early Bird VIP Experience tickets for the Friday 6:30 pm and 9 pm show are priced at $89.94 respectively. General admission wristbands for the August 1st show are $43.2 while the group-rate general admission wristbands are available for $38.09.
