Bestselling author visiting Omaha for new novel release

Bestselling historical fiction author Ariel Lawhon will appear in Omaha for an event celebrating the publication of her latest novel, The Pirate Queen.

Hosted by The Bookworm, the program will feature a discussion with the author followed by a public book signing session. Readers will also have an opportunity to purchase extra Copies of the new release and several of Lawhon's previously published works during the evening.

Lawhon is recognized for historical novels that have earned critical acclaim and international readership through translations in more than 30 languages. Her newest book follows the life of Grace O'Malley, an Irish noblewoman who overcomes social expectations to become a respected maritime leader while defending her homeland during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I.

General Admission is priced at $44.88 per person, which includes the $39.00 admission price, a $2.94 processing fee and $2.94 in sales tax. Each ticket provides entry for one guest and includes one hardcover Print of The Pirate Queen. Admission and Books are non-transferable and nonrefundable.
