Omaha venue schedules Summer Fete

An Omaha historic venue that counts on the generosity of the public will be the place to be when it rolls out the welcome mat for its Summer Fete.

The Joslyn Castle and Gardens will once again be hosting this annual fundraiser, which has become a local favorite. The monies raised through ticket sales and other means will be used for the property’s upkeep and operations, with the annual budget needed to do this being in excess of $1m.

The event will open with a cocktail reception and the opportunity to explore, and there will be pre-dinner music and lawn games. After this, the open air dinner will take place under cover out in the gardens. Throughout the gathering, attendees will be offered the opportunity to learn more about the castle, including its past, present, and vision for the future. A silent auction and photo booth are both in the works, and the suggested attire is summer garden party.

Organizing an event usually includes sticking to a set budget, which may not always be an easy task. Printing services companies will be able to lend a hand, and can provide materials at a wide range of price points.

The 2024 Summer Fete will be celebrating Omaha's past on Saturday, August 17 at 3902 Davenport Street, starting at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $200 each.
