Omaha to host Halloween camp out

Even though there may be a chill in the air this October, an Omaha campground will be welcoming families for a seasonal celebration.

The West Omaha/Lincoln KOA Holiday campground is open throughout the year, and it has planned a Halloween celebration. Everyone who plans on being part of the fun is reminded to bring along any decor they would like to use to decorate their site, and a prize will be presented to the one the judges feel is the best.

As well as the decorating competition, the weekend has lots of other excitement in the works. The kids can go trick-or-treating in costume, and a movie will be screened on the Friday night. Hay rack rides and visits to a pumpkin patch are on the agenda, and the gourds can be purchased for $1 each. There will be a variety of crafting projects on offer, some of which come with an additional price tag. The festivities will wrap up with a glow parade on Saturday evening.

Many businesses have found creative ways to attract new customers and expand their client base. Hosting seasonally themed activities is one way to do this, and a poster printing company will be able to help by supplying custom-designed decor.

This autumn camp out has been scheduled for the weekend of October 7 and 8. The KOA Holiday campground can be found at 14601 Highway 6 in Gretna.
