Omaha set to welcome self-care fair

An organization that believes mental health matters has an event on the way to Omaha that will focus on the importance of self-care, and it is open to one and all.

The Self Care Fair is coming up in the city later this month, thanks to support from The Kim Foundation. This will be the first year for the function, and it will be filled with learning and other interactive fun.

Guests will be encouraged to develop their self-care skills. There will be therapy dogs on hand to meet, and yoga lessons and demonstrations have been scheduled. The crowd can try out the giant coloring pages, bracelet making, and visit the tables and booths set up by local mental healthcare resources and other vendors. Self-care stations will round out the celebration.

A planned event gives non-profit groups and community members a chance to come together, and they may also give them an opportunity to enjoy themselves. A poster printing company can aid in ensuring as many as possible are aware of an upcoming activity, and will be able to meet service requests even at short notice.

The first ever Self Care Fair will be held at Omaha’s Gene Leahy Mall on Saturday, May 18, getting underway at 11:00 am. The festivities will be in full swing until 4:00 pm.
