Omaha Restaurant Week coming in early fall
Omaha Restaurant Week will have over 60 participating restaurants with three course fixed priced menus. The event raises money for the Food Bank of Heartland.
This year the restaurants will have four different fixed menu prices. These prices will fit different dining preferences.
The meals include appetizer, main entrée, and desserts. The menu prices are fixed, and the menus are determined by the individual restaurants participating in Omaha Restaurant Week.
Omaha’s upscale restaurants will have a higher fixed price menu this year. Chef Clayton Chapman who works at the Grey Plume says the higher cost helps him put a better menu together for customers that reflects every day portion size and quality.
Restaurants participating in the higher priced fixed menu are 360 Steakhouse, Baela Rose, Boiler Room Restaurant, Jack Binion’s Steak House, and The Grey Plume. These restaurants serve steak, seafood, duck, chicken, pork, soups, salads, and desserts.
Participating restaurant will feature a wide variety of different types of foods. There will be burgers, fried chicken, meat loaf, pot roast, fajitas, tacos, enchiladas, burritos, ribs, comfort food, stir fry, curries, fried rice, noodles, pizza, pasta, vegetarian, Chinese, and more.
Omaha Restaurant Week will take place on Sept.14 to 23. All participating restaurants will have regular menu items available for customers.
Omaha has print shops that assist with the graphic design of restaurants menus and marketing materials for events like this.
