Omaha ready for sights, sounds, and tastes of Japan

A celebration of Japanese food, music and culture will welcome Omaha residents this fall, and the experience will be held at the city’s Lauritzen Gardens.

The garden will be celebrating the connection between Omaha and its sister city Shizuoka in Japan. The two days will be filled with an assortment of exhibits, food tastings, workshops and other fun, and admission to the festivities is included in the entry fee to the site.

The festival will give the public a chance to experience Japanese culture, and activities such as calligraphy demonstrations, chopstick lessons, live performances of martial arts, music and dance, and food tastings are just some of what is on the agenda. Some of the activities come with an additional fee, and these monies raised will aid in funding the location’s planned Japanese gardens.

At a themed celebration like this, the host may wish to offer customized Promotional Products for sale as souvenirs of the day. They can count on local printing services companies to provide them, along with a full line of other printed materials.

The Japanese Ambiance Festival will bring a taste of Japan to Omaha on the weekend of October 2nd and 3rd. Both days will run from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. More information and a full itinerary can be found on its website.
