The Omaha Great Pumpkin Tree Festival held at Village Point Shopping Center has a tree lighting ceremony, pumpkin carving, trick or treating, games, and entertainment. It is sponsored in conjunction with Susan G. Komen and breast cancer awareness month.
The festival will have events scheduled all day long. Pumpkin carving is schedule for the early part of the day. Pumpkins can be carved for Halloween and in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Omaha has printing services that can design Promotional Products for events like this.
Activities will be held at the CHI Amphitheater for the Annual Halloween Fun Day. There will be games, special costumed characters, and trick or treating activities. This event is during the afternoon
A concert will take place in the evening by a group called eNVy, which plays classic and modern hits. Armed with guitars, percussion, keyboard, and vocals, they play music from Billy Joel, Earth Wind and Fire, The Beatles, and more.
The evening ends with a pumpkin lighting ceremony around a large tree, during which a dance performance will be presented by the Omaha Basement Dance and Fitness Studio.
The Omaha Great Pumpkin and Tree Festival will take place on October 27 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. The shopping center is located at 13705 Davenport St. The mall has several restaurants and eateries to stop to eat in.
