The Taste of Omaha Festival is scheduled for the start of June.
The three-day festival has food, entertainment, rides, music, dance, face painting, comedy, and magic. It will be located at Heartland of American Park on 8th and Douglas Street and Lewis and Clark Landing at 515 North River Front Drive, with parking available near both locations.
The Kids’ Zone has carnival rides, entertainment, magic shows, animals, balloons, a bubble show, and music for all ages.
The Chef’s Stage has cooking demonstrations, breweries, ice competitions, and a chance to meet local Omaha chefs.
Guests can enjoy four stages with musical entertainment and performers, taking their pick from rhythm and blues, country, pop, disco, rock, polka music, and funk.
There are dancers, singers, folk music, reggae, spinning dance, Mexican dance, fire spinning dance, Azteca Meso American dance and drumming, belly dancing, the Irish Dance Academy, and flamenco dancers.
The festival has many local restaurants and features all type of food, ranging from Mexican fare like tacos, to Mediterranean dishes like gyros and American favorites such as hot dogs and hamburgers. Vendors will serve beer, wine, and soft drinks too.
Omaha has printing services that help with graphic design of printed materials for restaurants, retail shops, entertainers, and businesses, for marketing and advertising purposes.
Admission is free, and the event runs from June 1 to 3.
