An Omaha spring tradition is set to make its return to the city, and everyone who would like to join the fun can grab a folding chair and head to Stinson Park this weekend.
The venue will be the location for the 2023 Orchestra Omaha’s outdoor pops concert. The program will be family friendly with pieces chosen from films and other pop culture.
The activity, which serves as a fundraiser for the orchestra, will feature music from movies such as Hamilton, Wicked, and Star Wars, and the schedule of music runs for an hour and a half. Food and other refreshments will be available for purchase, and everyone can try their luck in the raffle. An emcee will be taking to the stage, and one of the winners of the prize draws will even be able to climb the podium to conduct the musicians.
