Omaha moms offered retro prom experience

Prepping for their high school prom is a fond memory for many women, and a fundraiser for local kids will offer Omaha moms a taste of their salad days.

Women age 21 and up are encouraged to dig deep in their closets to find their favorite formal attire for the Mom Prom, and while they dance the night away, they will be helping child abuse victims. The proceeds will be donated to Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Douglas County.

This girls’ night out will feature lots of retro tunes. While they are enjoying themselves, the guests will be able to learn more about CASA and the work it performs in the community. The Soiree Room, which is situated at 7040 North 102nd Circle in Omaha, will be the venue for the festivities.

When organizing a party like this, it is important to remember that decor can be an important part of creating a fun atmosphere. A banner printing company’s products provide a way to create a memorable event while still keeping within the budget set for a particular occasion.

The current plan is for the CASA Mom Prom fundraiser to take place on April 9th. It will begin at 7:00 pm, and the organizers explained that if the party has to be cancelled due to COVID 19, the monies raised will be passed directly to the cause. Tickets are $35.00.
