Omaha kids and present to enjoy learning about owls

Thanks to a local initiative, learning about nature is about to get a lot more fun for Omaha kids and parents alike.

Lauritzen Gardens offers the public a variety of ways to get immersed in the natural world, and one of these is geared towards preschool kids, as well as their parents or guardians. Advance registration is required, and a discount on the ticket price will be offered to Gardens members.

The activity will use a variety of methods to introduce kids to owls. They will learn about their calls, where they live, how they hunt and what they eat. The group will sing songs, play games and use other methods to learn and the goal is for it to be as fun as it is informative. Each registration will admit one child and their parent or guardian, and the function will run for one and a half hours.

Organizers that offer take home packets to the families that register for a planned event will be able to keep the fun and learning going. These can be filled with Promotional Products, handouts, activity Books, and other materials.

This session of the Lil Sprouts initiative, which will be all about owls, will be on offer on January 5th. It will begin at 1:00 pm, and a discounted ticket price is available for Gardens members.
