When people think of racing, animals like horses usually come to mind, but an Omaha area event will feature some rather different competitors.
The Omaha Corgi Races have been scheduled for early May, and Tom Hanafan River's Edge Park will serve as the venue for the festive event. This will be its 4th year, and as many 100 racing dogs will be on hand for the activity.
Free to attend, the gathering will feature several races, as well as an assortment of other fun. A vendor area will be on offer and where, they will be able to show some love to at least 20 small businesses. Food trucks have been invited to take part, and local animal rescue groups and other not-for-profits will be represented as well. The function is being hosted thanks, in part, to support from the Omaha Corgi Crew and the Omaha Sports Commission.
A friendly competition can be fun for both the competitors and spectators alike. Medals, prizes and certificates can all be prepared by Print shops, and they can be crafted so they feature a function's Logo Design.
The 2024 Corgi Races will bring lots of four-legged fun to Tom Hanafan River’s Edge Park on May 11. The event will begin at 10:00 am, and all ages are welcome to join the excitement of the day.
