Omaha Children’s Museum will feature two exciting educational exhibits with different themes. Super Sports: Building Strength, Sportsmanship, and Smarts and Attic Adventures. Both exhibits will feature interactive activities for children.
Super Sports will test the children’s skills of throwing a football and baseball. There is mini soccer basketball, and hockey courts too. Children will learn team skills, about different sports, and nutrition.
The Sports Lab teaches children what science, art, math, technology and engineering has to do with sports. They will examine a baseball or learn why a football spins with hands-on activities.
Time For Sports is a daily activity that develops coordination and motors skills daily. Daily activities might include completing an obstacle course or shooting a soccer goal. The Super Sports exhibit will run until April 14.
The Attic Adventures exhibit will have many objects found in attics. It will have toys, instruments, and clothing. The exhibit is a scavenger hunt where children learn to observe what they see, decode, and solve puzzles.
Attic Adventures will have a Lego building section and test track. They will also have a large operational game, a tea party with stuffed animals, climbing wall, and costumes and dress-up area. Omaha has Print shops that design promotional Pens and other Corporate Gifts for businesses like this.
Attic Adventures runs from March 2 to September 1. The museum is located at 500 South 20th Street. There is free parking. The Rainbow Café located on the second floor will serve food and beverages.
