An Omaha establishment has plans in the works for a day that will celebrate moms and all they do for their families, and it will give the little ones a chance to create some special gifts to take home at the same time.
The Mother’s Day brunch that will feature tea and an assortment of light fare has been planned by The Wonder Nook Omaha, and the dishes will be prepared by the kids. They will be able to take the pre-printed recipe card home with them so they can show off their new kitchen skills.
Along with the cookery, the attendees will be taking part in some crafting, preparing handmade Mother’s Day gifts such as custom tea blends. They will also be invited to listen to a story.
