OFF celebrates second decade

The Omaha Film Festival (OFF) will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a six-day event this March.

OFF started in 2005 and was created to bring Omaha audiences closer to the artistry and creativity of independent filmmakers. The festival will offer a showcase for films that often remain unavailable in traditional theaters. Over the years, OFF has become a vital cultural event, bridging the gap between filmmakers and the community.

Each year, the festival presents a diverse selection of approximately 100 films that are carefully chosen from nearly 1,000 global submissions. The lineup includes a wide range of independent works, from narrative features and documentaries to animated projects and short films. Additionally, the festival has a special faction dedicated to films made in Nebraska.

Passes for the festival are available at three levels to suit different interests. The all-access pass, priced at $100 will grant admission to all screenings, the writer's theatre on March 15th, nightly after-parties, and includes a complimentary t-shirt. Priced at $65, the all-film pass provides access to all film screenings and the writer's theatre. Alternatively, the weekend pass, also priced at $65, covers screenings on March 15th and 16th, entry to the writer's theatre, and after-parties on Saturday and Sunday.

Additional information may be obtained through the event's official listing.

Banner printing may be used to highlight different aspects of festivals such as this one.

The event date and Location will be March 11th through 16th at 2626 Harney Street, Omaha, Nebraska.
