The 8th annual Nebraska Balloon and Wine Festival is being held in Omaha for two days this August.
Of course, the major draw of the festival is the hot air balloons, and guests will be able to take rides or just enjoy the balloon glow that occurs each night. The event also serves as a major showcase for the area's best wines, and guests will be able to purchase five wine or beer tasting tickets and receive a free wineglass.
There will also be live music from acts like Pink Kadillac, High Heels, and Front Ro, along with a marketplace village selling arts and crafts, a tandem skydive, and lots of children's activities, such as pony rides.
Guests can also take part in the VIP Food and Wine Experience. For $37 each, they will have a chance to enjoy some local wines and a meal from one of the city's top restaurants.
