Haunted history tour planned for Raleigh

Raleigh Walking Tours is about to start its Haunted History Walking Tour. Anyone from Raleigh is welcome to join and learn something about the city’s history.

The tour will take place near the Governor’s Mansion in Raleigh. The route is approximately an hour and 15 minutes and will cover a one-mile distance. The guide will take participants through historical locations previously reported as haunted. Entrants will the history behind these buildings and the ghost stories associated with them. Brochure printing is often used to support these events by providing them with additional information on the historical sites.

Face masks are required during the tour, and with safety in mind, the number of entrants per tour is limited. If there are not enough people for any of the tour dates, the event will be canceled 24 to 48 hours before the date, so organizers ask that entrants register in advance if they are planning to attend.

The tours will start this Saturday, March 27, and will continue through April. Throughout the month, the tours will be available on the Saturday of each week. Each walk will begin at 5:15 pm. No registration fee is required, but entrants can leave a donation if they want to support their tour guide. Each tour will start on 200 Blount St., right outside Governor’s Mansion.
